# Microsoft Store listing — Flash Download Copy for Partner Center. Field names match the Store listing page. Character limits are Microsoft's; current lengths are noted. --- ## Product name ``` Flash Download ``` ## Short description *(limit 1000 — used in search results and the product card)* ``` A download manager that opens up to 32 connections against one file, so a server that limits each connection no longer limits you. Every connection can take its own proxy route. Instead of a single progress bar, you see one bar per connection — because the slowest one is what decides when the download finishes. ``` ## Description *(limit 10000)* ``` Flash Download splits a file into byte ranges and pulls them in parallel, up to 32 connections at once. Many servers cap the throughput of a single connection but not the total, so opening several against the same file can finish it considerably sooner. Where a server refuses ranged requests, Flash Download says so plainly and uses one connection rather than pretending to be parallel. Each connection can take a different route — direct, an HTTP proxy, or SOCKS4/5. Pin a download to one route, or spread it across a pool so every connection takes a different healthy one. Routes are latency-tested when the app starts, and a route that fails repeatedly is marked degraded and its work moves elsewhere without interrupting the download. SEEING WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING Most download managers show one progress bar, which averages away the only number that decides when you finish: the slowest connection. Flash Download shows a segment lane strip instead — one row per connection, its width the bytes it has taken, its own speed beside it. A stalled connection is visibly stalled, and the route column tells you which proxy is responsible. The inspector adds the byte range each connection is working, throughput over the last minute, and whether the server accepted ranged requests at all. KEEPING CONNECTIONS BUSY As connections finish, the fast ones take over the back half of whatever range has the longest left to run. A connection that wedges entirely is taken over rather than waited out. Without this, throughput collapses near the end of a download as connections retire one by one and the slowest is left alone. FINISHING CORRECTLY Downloads resume from exact byte offsets after a pause, a quit or a lost connection, and a resume is refused if the file changed on the server. Completed files can be verified with SHA256. A global speed limit applies across all connections, not per connection. PRIVACY No accounts, no telemetry, no analytics, no advertising. Nothing is sent to the developer. Everything the app records stays on your computer. ``` ## Key features *(up to 20, 200 characters each)* ``` Up to 32 parallel connections against a single file A different proxy route per connection — HTTP, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 One progress bar per connection, so you can see which one is holding you up Live rebalancing: finished connections take over the slowest range Wedged connections are taken over instead of waited out Resume from exact byte offsets, refused if the file changed on the server SHA256 verification after download Speed limit shared across all connections, not applied per connection Route pool with latency testing and automatic failover Detects servers that refuse ranged requests instead of faking parallelism Offers links copied to your clipboard, and can be turned off No accounts, no telemetry, no advertising ``` ## Search terms *(up to 7, 30 characters each — not shown to users)* ``` download manager multi connection download proxy downloader socks5 download accelerator resume download parallel download ``` ## What's new in this version ``` First Store release. Up to 32 connections per file, each able to take its own proxy route. Per connection progress rather than a single bar. Live rebalancing so connections do not sit idle at the end of a download. Resume from exact byte offsets and SHA256 verification. ``` --- ## Properties | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Category | Utilities & tools | | Subcategory | File managers | | Privacy policy URL | **needed** — host `docs/PRIVACY.md` and paste the URL | | Website | https://www.jmtechpower.com/jm-tech-power-official/flash-download | | Support contact | jmtechpower.com@gmail.com | | Copyright | Copyright © 2026 JM Tech Power | | Applicable license | MIT — see LICENSE | ## Age rating questionnaire — answer carefully The questionnaire asks whether the app gives access to uncurated internet content. Flash Download retrieves whatever address the user supplies, so the honest answer is **yes**. Expect that to raise the rating above the lowest tier and to require the "users can access unfiltered internet content" disclosure. Answering otherwise risks the submission being pulled later. ## Screenshots At least one is required, 1366x768 or larger. Worth capturing: 1. A multi-connection download in flight — the lane strip with varied fill and the inspector showing byte ranges and routes 2. The route pool, including a degraded route 3. The add dialog, showing connection count and the range-support check 4. A finished download with its SHA256
